you said it can’t be coincidental that this show was  

shown for us alone: a private display; an accidental after- 

 

class date. eyes wide & mouth agape—my contrarianism  

crushed by an infinite white dome skyscape. i grabbed mars &  

 

uranus—unraveling anxieties into moisture & delight.  

you asked if i wanted to leave soon, but i didn’t respond.  

 

i longed for us to stay here forever & to journey past the moon—
